The Frequency Central System X CV Mixer is based on the Roland 100m module 132. It is DC coupled for mixing CV signals together, but can also be used with audio signals. There are 4 inputs and two outputs on the mixer. Input 3 has positive 5 volts normaled to its input, so when nothing is input to channel 3 you can add a positive offset by turning up channel 3. Channel 4 has negative 5 volts normaled to its input, for adding a negative offset. The two outputs are normal and inverted, which are just the signal and its inverse.
When building this module if you would like better response from the knobs for audio you could use A100k potentiometers, or B100k if you want better control over CV and DC offsets.
- 4 DC coupled inputs
- Input 3 normaled to +5v
- Input 4 normaled to -5v
- Mix output
- Inverted mix output
