The Panorama P1, from Nektar, is a desktop controller packed to the brim with dense functionalities. It is perfectly optimized to control Reason and Cubase, though it also works well with Bitwig Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo, Main Stage, and Reaper. A such, the P1 features a wealth of assignable controls consisting of sixteen encoders, nine 45mm faders, ten LED buttons, 28 additional buttons, and a footswitch input. On top of that, users can save their settings to one of twenty slots—and since each slot features storable/recallable f-keys, over 1,200 combinations are possible.
The most immediately apprehendable feature of the P1 is its 3.5” color TFT display, which conveys all relevant information in a straightforward and concise manner.
