The MF Term V2 pedal features a new design in a sleek black chassis. The pedal allows for authentic VCO-controlled tremolo that pairs well with a variety of different instruments, adding a distinct vintage foil to every external signal. The pedal is 100% analog and features intuitive, flexible controls that allow users to easily create classic tremolo effects, as well as harmonically-saturated tremolo from beyond the moon. Speaking of strange, cranking the unit results in pseudo-chorus/phaser effects.
Additionally, it is possible to generate rhythmic effects and swells via the MF Trem’s Shape control. There’s also an expansion pedal (not included) that adds hands-free speed control.
MF Trem V2 Features
Shape control creates smooth, reversed, rotary, and percussive effects
Reacts musically to playing dynamics, chord positioning and harmonic content
Designed to perform with any Guitar, Amp, or Bass guitar configuration
Shape Control – sweeps between modulation waveshapes – smooth rise and fall at Center position – hard impact followed by a smooth decline at hard Right – smooth lift and abrupt drop off at hard Left
Speed Rate Control – sets overall Tremolo rate, Shape and Depth controls will directly affect the perceived speed and rhythm of Tremolo (swirling, lush, and transformative sounds at slower settings; tighter rotary speaker type sounds as speed increases)
Depth Tremolo Amount Control – subtle and mostly dry at minimum, phase cancellation and addition effects at increased Depth, galloping swing effects at center, doubled tremolo speeds at maximum
Tone Control – affects the Tremolo signal only leaving the dry signal untouched, all frequencies are affected by tremolo at maximum position and as Tone Control is decreased the tremolo becomes more subtle (from mid position down, the Tone Control can be used to dial in sounds that impact only low frequencies)
Tone control harmonically interacts the effected signal to create wide ranges of movement
Expression Pedal Input – Assigned to Tremolo Speed and used for beautiful swells and transition between high and low settings (useful for Rotary Effects)
