Unique All Analog Drum Machine Review by Mike G
Rating
Unique sound palette. Two Very flexible BD synths , HH, OH Clap, Cowbel , Shaker, see description. Slightly deeper functions (e.g. rolls, flam, parameter-locks ) not as intuitive as on other drum machines. You have to be patient...there's no display. Boutique machine, low production rate, therefore minimal online tutorials. Confusing to program CV channel or Bass/Synth tone instrument.

Nevertheless, the sound , esp when played on a full range , full dynamic PA system, is EXTREMELY satisfying. The analog bass wins over my Electron Machinedrum. Adj decay on BD's can shake a room. Multi-outs allow variable processing of each "instrument" (e.g. filters on whole output , or on just BD.......or.....DEL on claps and TOMs ) . These are raw analog sounds, that beg for Fx and post processing. My recent new favorite. Used in recent LIVE sets as..... Solitary Science. Really 3.75 stars due to parameter prog weirdness,...but I accept it (Posted on 12/23/16)
