Phonogene Sampler Looper Instrument - 20HP

Make Noise Phonogene

The Phonogene from Make Noise is a complex sampler and looper module for Eurorack synthesizers. It is a digital implementation of an old idea from Pierre Schaeffer, who was unable to construct the machine due to the technological draw backs of the 1950s. Now with modern technology, the Phonogene has been expanded further past the view of Schaeffer, to now include granular microsound type effects. It has voltage control over every parameter, allowing it to be an evolving effect, never repeating a pattern. The Phonogene has tactile buttons for record and splace, with easily accessed, color-coded knobs, designed for live performance.
