Korg Kronos 88 Keyboard Workstation

Korg’s Kronos Workstation is a synthesis powerhouse with nine individual sound engines and pristine virtual memory that is useful for a variety of musical and sound design applications. The synthesizer was designed with both the studio and the stage in mind and features a wide variety of available sounds in addition to an amazingly tactile interface. In addition to Korg’s intuitive TouchView display, the unit’s front panel offers users access to joysticks, knobs, sliders, assignable pedal inputs, and a ribbon controller—all of which grant expert control over the unit’s available sounds. 

The Kronos’s 88-key keyboard utilizes the natural, semi-weighted responsiveness of Korg’s M3-61 to give users a truly tactile experience. Additionally, the Kronos contains an enhanced SGX-2 sound engine, which consists of non-looped stereo samples that have been individually recorded for each key. Speaking of samples, the Kronos ships with 21GB of presets suitable for a vast array of different genres. There’s also an internal SSD with 62GB of memory, which gives users a generous amount of space for downloading and/or sampling material from the Kronos sound library, or for storing their own custom sounds. 

This is the 88-note version of the Kronos.
