The Animodule ‘Gate_Mod’ Dual Voltage Controlled Gate Mod / Trigger Delay is compact yet powerful Module that allows for gate length manipulation and event trigger delays with ease.
The Gate_Mod takes any incoming signal above ~1.1V making it very forgiving on Clock Inputs. It can then take this input and shrink it dow to 5ms or lengthen it up to 5 seconds. The Gate will appear at the Gate Out jack. When the Gate is over, a 10ms Trigger will turn on at the Delay Out. The Gate length can be set with the Time Potentiometer OR the CV Input.
The Gate_Mod’s switches allow for changes between Interrupt or Dividing Behavior (1 for each channel). When Interrupt is selected, the time will reset when Clock In receives a new Clock Pulse, essentially lengthening the Gate Out and Delay Out to the Time set + Time elapsed. So Gate will never go Low and Delay will never go High if Time is set longer than the interval between Clock Pulses (Useful when having staggered, irregular, or random Clocks). When Dividing is selected, Clock In will ignore any new Clock Pulses until it has finished the current running cycle.
