The M1 is a quad buffered multiple. Each multiple section has one input and three outs.
The lower two are normalized to the upper two multiples and the upper two are also normalized to each other. If a signal is plugged into either of the upper mults it will be passed on to all twelve of the outputs. If both upper multiples are used they will pass the signal to the multi directly below. If a signal is plugged into the lower multiple, that will only be passed through to the three outputs of that multiple. Each multiple works great with audio or CV. 1V/Oct CV can be plugged into one mult and feed twelve modules with no drop in voltage.
