The Boss DD-7 is the most recent incarnation of their DD Series digital delays. As such, it features an extended delay time of 6.4 seconds and optimized features like Modulation Delay, Analog Delay, and tap tempo. There’s also an integrated looper that allows for up to 40 seconds of record time, and an expression pedal input that can be used in tandem with an external controller (sold separately) to affect the unit’s delay time, feedback, and effect level parameters. All of this and more make the Boss DD-7 a no-brainer for those seeking a versatile digital delay.
In terms of controls, the unit features knobs for Tone, Level, Sustain, and Attack, making it easy to dial in just the right amount of compression for an extensive array of applications.
