This joystick is not your typical CV supplied joystick. There are (2) Bi-Polar FM Circuits for each potentiometer on the analog joystick. This allows you to choose what you want to warp and bend instead of just putting out a boring static voltage.
The PCB is all self-mounted. Only the passive button has wires for the jacks. Everything else is soldered/mounted on the PCB.
The joystick's button is a passive circuit so that you can momentarily switch something on.
The actual joystick is the same kind found in Playstation game pads.
An internal switch jack will send 5V through the Bi-Polar circuit when nothing is plugged into the input. This will cause the joystick to operate in a "normal" fashion - like all of the other CV joystick modules out there.
