The QX1622USB, from Behringer, is a 12-channel mixer comprised of four stereo channels and four mic/line channels. The latter four channels each feature their own single-knob compressor, while all channels have a 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid, FX send, and aux send. The FX send runs to the unit’s internal effects section, which features 100 separate effects, each with three malleable parameters.
The QX1622 also affords users the ability to mute, solo, pan, and route tracks to the main mix or sub mix. Additionally, the mixer features USB connectivity, meaning it can be used as an audio interface for the convenient recording of just about any line-level signal. It is also compatible with the Behiringer wireless microphone system.
